The Director's Cut Workshop

Watch a film and ask the director questions about the production process.

Scene Shop (writers/actors)

Prior to the conference, writers desiring to have actors read a portion of their screenplay out loud and have it critiqued during this workshop can submit short scenes to Bonnie Johnson. Actors and writers who want to participate should contact Bonnie for details at bonnie28@carolina.rr.com.

Creative Networking

Over meals and during the afternoons, there is ample time for you to discuss your projects, your products and your ideas with other professionals.

Important Notes
2009 ICVM Conference

1) Popcorn night (DVD’s only)

You can sign up on Tuesday for a 6-minute time slot at the conference registration desk. To ensure that your submission is not disqualified, please test your movie on a standard DVD player- not just your computer. DVD must be NTSC or PAL format. We recommend bringing a back-up copy for safety. We reserve the right to withhold your clip if it contains material deemed inappropriate for a Christian conference.

2) For every new person you invite and they come to the conference, you will receive a $100 voucher (valid for one year) which can be used towards membership or the conference fee. -Applies to people who have never been to a conference and is for full registrations only. -Does not include spouses or additional employees and is not redeemable for cash. -Tell Paul Marks the names of people you invite so you get credit if they register; he will number the vouchers and keep a list of the person’s name and number.

3) Your picture will be taken during registration to put on your conference CD.

4) “Dressy attire” is suggested for the Crown Awards dinner on Friday night.
