54th Annual ICVM Crown Awards

About The Crown Awards

The ICVM Crown Awards, the longest-running faith-based film awards, celebrates its 54th year recognizing and promoting the very best in Christian film and TV production.

We award 28 categories for every type of production, including Movies, Documentaries, Foreign Films, Series, Shorts, Foreign Films, Church Media, Student Films, Comedy, Best Actor, Best Actress and more! 

NEW CATEGORIES! We’ve added six: Best Animated Movie or TV, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Children’s Series, Best Production Design, & Best Use of AI on Screen.

 

NEW CHANGES!  Because we’ve added 6 new categories, bringing us to 28 total, we are going to do what the Oscars have done – create two ceremonies.  9 awards will be presented at our Storytellers Conference at our closing Crown Awards Banquet, while the remaining 19, plus the BEST PICTURE Award, will be presented as before at our Crown Awards Ceremony at the NRB Media Convention in Washington, D.C.  This will allow us to keep the program to two hours.

Sorbo Hosts 53rd Crown Awards Ceremony, Honors Filmmakers & Vets

Acclaimed actor, director, producer and writer Kevin Sorbo brought wit and wisdom to the stage of the 53rd Annual ICVM Crown Awards Ceremony as he hosted the event that saw the movie ‘STILL HOPE’ win Best Picture, and Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee’s ‘Huckabee’ show win Best Talk Show.  Neal McDonough took home the Best Actor trophy for his hit movie, ‘THE LAST RODEO’.

The 2-hour show of the Ceremony will premiere on the CTN Network on April 11th at 7pm ET – go to ICVM.com to find other streaming ways of watching!

22 categories took home 68 Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards during the ceremony at NRB’s Christian Media Convention on February 18th, 2026, in Nashville, TN.

We Need JURORS for the 54th Annual ICVM Crown Awards!

We are looking for Jurists willing to watch one or more categories of films, documentaries, TV shows or other programming. All juror viewing is easy and online through our Film Freeway platform.

You will need to watch each submission in its entirety. We’ll fill you in on the simple scoring system and provide each jurist with instructions on how to navigate Film Freeway. Believe me, it is easy and will provide you a lot of opportunities for popcorn with family and friends!

HISTORY OF THE CROWN AWARDS

Since 1973

Since 1973, when a group of distributors began to honor the work of Christian film producers, the traditional awards ceremony has made a great ending to the ICVM conference each year. The Crown Awards are a celebration of films and film-makers, encouraging and inspiring creativity by showcasing great examples of excellence in communicating Christian values.
