History & Purpose The Crown Awards are designed to recognize excellence in production and content of films and videos that are created to reflect Christian values in a secular world. They began around 1973 as a way for distributors to honor the work of Christian film producers, and the awards ceremony has made a great ending for ICVM conference every year.

A Final Note Our goal is to simplify this process as much as possible and still allow a fair means of judging the films. Over the years, we've been open to suggestions, (this year reflected some changes because of it) but listen more closely to those accompanied with an offer to help implement those ideas. If you feel we can improve the process, how about offering to help make those changes? Our organization is volunteer-run. Nothing happens unless someone is willing to come in and make a difference. Your co-operation and input is strongly encouraged. We look forward to another exciting competition this year!
