July 10 - 13, 2012 marks the 37th Anniversary of the ICVM Catalyst Conference

THE TIME IS NOW is our theme for 2012 following last year's theme of For Such a Time. The Lord was faithful to meet us in Atlanta last year and many attendees commented that 2011 was the best conference they had been to so far! It is with great anticipation that we are planning a relevant, timely event in Orlando, Florida, the home of Disney.

Some of the highlights for the 2012 conference include a separate time slot on Tuesday morning for ICVM members to screen trailers, shorts or samples of their current projects. (A table with a sign-up will be set up in the screening room for members to show their project to interested parties).

Crown Awards nominations will also be screening trailers during Tuesday morning. In 2012, all judging for the Crown Award submissions will be done off-site by professional jurors. This will allow an extra day for attendees to enjoy a slower pace and allow for more networking. See the Crown Awards page for details on this years' submission instructions.

Prayer, now an ICVM staple, will be a priority at this year's conference with a time set aside each morning for corporate prayer.

Luis Bush will be the Tuesday night, opening keynote speaker and lead us in devotions on Wednesday morning. Luis is considered to be "the Billy Graham of Latin America" and has a relevant, current pulse of the Body of Christ. Author, Jerry Jenkins, is confirmed as our Wednesday evening keynote speaker in 2012. A fun, private group outing is planned to Sea World on Thursday evening, and in ICVM tradition, the conference will close on Friday evening with the Crown Awards ceremony to honor Christian filmmakers worldwide. We will soon announce a special, world-renowed entertainer who will host this year's crown awards. And by member request, we have set aside the luncheon on Thursday for networking (after a very brief business meeting). We will announce one more luncheon keynote speaker soon.
